Imagination is essential not only for overcoming creative blocks and generating a stream of ideas. It keeps our perception alive and our thinking flexible. And imagination is also a wonderful tool for dealing with anxiety.
In the “Imagination” workshop, I use exercises developed by visionary theatre practitioners Michael Chekhov and Jacques Lecoq, as well as by teachers from the British theatre tradition.
We’ll move from simple to complex, build associative chains, act spontaneously, create a film reel of visions, and work with the nonexistent as if it were something tangible.
For actors — to stay in shape and keep their creative exploration alive.
And for anyone creating new, original material — from social media content to works of art.
During the workshop, you’ll return to childhood and rediscover what it feels like to create entire worlds out of nothing. At the end, you’ll try an exercise that actors both love and fear — the etude — and create your own fairy tale.
Warm up through playful imagination exercises. Learn to work with the given circumstances.
Then send your application for the workshop by email info@everyday-theatre.com.
I can adapt any workshop to suit you and your needs. A workshop can have artistic goals or become part of a strategy session, corporate event, or training seminar.
